Accepting An Offer
There is a lot to consider before you sign a real estate
contract. Contract can be complicated and have special
contingencies. Contingencies are a part of real estate
contracts and so are renegotiations – but only in
limited areas. Some contingencies are frowned on –
others make perfect sense. Once an offer is made, we may
need to enter some negotiation in order to reach an
agreement. Every effort should be made to successfully
negotiate the contract.
There are literally hundreds of points that you can
negotiate in a real estate transaction. Usually, you'll
deal with just a handful when an offer is made. Some of
the points that you may negotiate are:
The key to successful negotiating is keeping in mind
that the end result must make both the buyer and the
seller happy. If you feel the home offer is
insufficient, make a counter offer.
